Chinese and Khmer ‘language’ classes are provided from our Early Years Programme through to the end of Primary School. Depending on their Year Group, students receive anywhere from 40 minutes – 2 hours of Chinese or Khmer language lessons per week .
These classes introduce our students to language (Mandarin and Khmer), culture and traditions of the two countries through the medium’s of learning through play and creative expressions; song, dance, role play, games and storytelling.
Students are also introduced to various celebrated days around the world through the school’s planned activities as a learning community. This includes having school days themed around a particular celebration which often culminate in a school event with student performances.
